Circling back with the community on recent research findings is another best practice we suggest doing regularly, e.g., once a month or every other month.
Think about the research activities and/or community engagements you have run and decide what might be interesting to share back to the community. Make sure you do not include anything confidential or information that should not be public.
Types of Sharebacks
- Infographic summarizing findings
- Graph with aggregate results
- Member quotes on a specific topic
- Link to company news release/ article related to research activity
Set up of Shareback
- Create your content. As can be seen from the types of sharebacks that can be run, they can be very basic, can already exist (online press release/ article), or can take some time to create (infographic).
- Create an Ideation Session and Tile and post the shareback information in the Ideation Session to view.
- As part of the introduction to the Ideation Session, encourage members to provide feedback on the findings and further discuss with their peers.
- Send an email to all community members. An example template is below.
- As always, be sure to closely monitor the idea session and respond to members' comments.
